YOUR OPPORTUNITY
RBCT wants to recruit two Millwrights in the Stockyard section to support and be an integral part of the maintenance team to consistently carry out maintenance functions effectively and efficiently within set performance targets.
JOB REQUIREMENTS/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Technical competence;
- Coaching of Apprentices, Trainees and Assistants;
- Plant and Equipment inspections and maintenance;
- Maintenance safety and planning management;
- Team roles and responsibilities;
- Adherence to procedures;
- Administration;
- General.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum requirements
Grade 12; N4 engineering (Mechanical /Electrical) certificate; Millwright Trade Test (or both Electrician and Fitter trade test); 3-5 years maintenance experience; Heavy motor vehicle drivers licence (Code C1).
Skills
Electrical, Mechanical fault finding; Basic computer skills; Basic knowledge of PLCs; Understand electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic principles; Able to read electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic drawings.
Personality
Hardworking, Self-directed and independent, Proactive, Self-motivated; Ability to work in a team environment.
